Vincent reports that the National Workshop on Commodity Alliance Forum (CAF) by the Agricultural Development (IFAD)-Assisted Value Chain Development Programme (VCDP) has begun in Abuja with many farmers and off-takers in attendance.
The National Programme Coordinator of the IFAD-VCDP, Dr Ameh Onoja, said the Programme was a demand- driven and market-led initiative of the Federal Government to work with 45,000 smallholder farmers, processors and marketers.

The paper has it that, the Value Chain Development Programme of the International fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD-VCDP) has injected 68.9 million us dollars into the Nigerian economy.
Mrs. Mariatu kamara, IFAD Programme officer, disclosed this yesterday in Abuja at the 2018National Commodity Alliance Forum (CAF).
